Red dot on my brush gun

I took my brush gun out last weekend and swapped the iron sights for a small red dot. The dense cover meant shots were close and fast, the dot made target acquisition instant. I liked that I kept both eyes open, peripheral awareness stayed sharp, and follow-up shots were effortless. Zeroing was quick, battery life held through a long day, and the dot was still readable in dappled light. If you hunt thick country, a compact red dot is worth trying

A fast red dot in the brush is definitely clutch for speed and FOV but how did you find it with heavy rain or snow? Did you notice any issues with debris or moisture obscuring the sight picture in that thick cover?
