Mine was an ice storm two hours into opening day. It is not 'kind of icy', I'm talking tree branches snapping, zero visibility that was genuinely dangerous. Had to hike back in conditions that felt apocalyptic..my pride wanted to tough it out but common sense said live to hunt another day. Common sense won, barely...

Some weather isn’t worth risking. Tough as it is, surviving to hunt another day is always the smarter choice.
