First hand gun revolver I ever shot was a H&R model 676 , first revolver I ever owned was a Ruger GP100

My first new sixgun was purchased in 1973, a Ruger Super Single Six. And yes I still have it.

Beckley range is still up & running. The indoor range here is still open & my personal range is always open. I'm no longer loading or cast "for hire" but I do plenty for myself.

My mentor in high school was an FBI Academy firearms instructor who schooled me on the Colt Official Police. I still have my first revolver.

Ruger Bearcat in 1959 and carried it for several years when on summer jobs for the US Forestry service. Lost it in the woods while working so someday someone may find it in the Nicolet National Forest in Vilas county Wisconsin.
It had a letter and a 3 digit number.

Enfield 38-200. Paid $35 for it in the late 70's. Shot standard 38 S&W 146 grainers in it. Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from inside the barn but it was probably me having to deal with the double action only trigger. No longer have it but wish I did so I could see how far my shooting has advanced. LOL. First new handgun was a Ruger Standard model. No longer have it but have an identical one.

S&W model 17 8 3/8" barrel bought it new over 40 years ago and still have it. IIRC it was $240 at the time.

When I turned 18, I bought myself a gun and a six pack of beer because I could.
It's a Raven p-25 and I still have it. The beer's long gone.


It's between my Wife's 66-3 and my AR Pistol.

Dan Wesson model 15-5 with 6" HV barrel, but with a month I also bought a Star PD, S&W model 29 4" and a S&W model 19-2 4". Still have all of them 48 years later.
