I absolutely % love any buck knife I ever bought and would never hesitate to tell someone to buy one . But additionally I like Gerber and Smith & Wesson.
For hunting knife I have a Outdoor Edge swing blade made with Aus 8 stainless steel . Love it
I use 2, a Case CopperLock & the Boker 1011 Pattern on the right. I have a few others but these 2 are my favorite & most used. Had them for many years.
I know a guy from Braxton County that collects Case knives and has others as well, I have one its a commemorative edition the railroad gave me as a gift for our division doing well.
In still carry my issue Camillus Mil-K-818. This is a stainless steel military version of the classic Boy Scout knife, sometimes called a Demo knife. Be sure to get a genuine US military item, not one of the Chicom knock-offs.
