We’ve all got that one hunt we still think about years later. It could be your first deer or a funny moment. Whatever it is, drop your best hunting memory here, let’s hear the ones that stuck with you.

Mine was a cold sunrise elk hunt where everything went sideways until a bull stepped out at twenty yards. My heart pounded, hands shook and I’ll never forget it.

I have so many . Hunting with my Dad probably mean the most to me . Especially taking a nice buck while he was right beside me back in 2015. A nice buck had come over the ridge we was setting across the valley 1/4 of the way up the opposite side. I wanted Dad to shoot it but when he pulled up He said He couldn't see it. I pointed it out he said I can't see through the scope. He handed me the gun when I instantly see dust on the optical. I wiped it off and He said no you go ahead before he is gone from the opening in the brush. I pulled up held 1" high top of his shoulders and it hit him in the pump station. And maybe took 3 steps. We figured it was about 220 yards. It was a 1964 30-30 Winchester with 150 grain bullets. Remington factory brand. That old 3x9 scope is probably still in that Gun . My brother owns it now. I always had an liking for revolvers and I have Dads H&R 676 12" 22LR/22WMR revolver. I still have the antlers from that buck. Dads been gone since 2021. I still remeber the look on Dads face when that buck piled up. That's the longest shot I ever killed a deer with a 30-30.
