Bug-out bag reality check

Most bug-out bags are fantasy backpacks. If you’ve never carried it, slept with it, or lived out of it, it’s just dead weight. A realistic bag beats a heavy one every time.

Living in West Virginia I don't believe we need a "bug-out bag." We have a lot of forests and hills to hide in. Folks in NYC, Philly, etc. are SOL.
