Didn't check my rifle before season

Last season I didn’t check my rifle before opening day. I assumed it was still zeroed from the year before. M first shot was way off and I spent opening morning re-zeroing instead of hunting. Always check your zero before the season, learn from my mistake.

I make sure my scope is still zeroed every year, even if I haven't touched the rifle. The temperature changes and bumping it while storing it can matter. Checking it before the season can save months of planning.
