Range Day With My Sister

My sister came out for a visit and we went to the range. She wanted to shoot my rifles so I brought these two.


The purple guy's a PSA in .223 wylde and the one in all black's a Rock River Arms .22LR upper on a Del-Ton lower. Both are sighted in at 50 yards.

That's her with the .22LR.


The idea was to shoot out the center of the target at 50 yards.

My sister liked shooting my 22LR so much that right after this she went out and got herself a S&W 15-22 pistol with an arm brace. It's light and easier for her to shoulder fire. I'm going to visit her this weekend and fix it up with one of my extra red dots and flip up sights.

This reminds me of the first time I let my cousin shoot my .22LR at 50 yards, he was nervous at first, but by the end of the session he was hitting the center consistently. Such a fun moment!

She liked it so much that she went out and got herself a S&W 15-22 pistol. Last Saturday, I put a red dot and flip up sights on it for her. We'll get it sighted in next week.

Cool, I actually have a S&W 15-22 myself and love it...and yeah, adding a red dot and flip-up sights really makes a difference
