I put a small red dot on my brush gun last weekend and made it easy to get on target fast. I liked keeping both eyes open to see everything around me and taking follow-up shots was quite simple. So if you hunt in the woods, a small red dot is something to consider

A fast red dot in the brush is definitely clutch for speed and FOV but how did you find it with heavy rain or snow? Did you notice any issues with debris or moisture obscuring the sight picture in that thick cover?

Red dots completely change how you hunt in thick areas, picking up targets is quick and you're way more aware for sure when a deer jumps out

I'm also a big fan of red dots in the thick stuff, quick shots feel natural because finding that perfect zero spot is easy

Yep, for fast action in brushy areas, you can't beat a red dot..they're pretty light and snap shots become almost second nature.
