Shooting a Desert Eagle for the first time was an experience

It is large and very different from anything I normally shoot. The recoil and overall feel make it more of an experience than a practical tool. I enjoyed shooting it but I also understand it is not something I would ever carry. Some firearms exist simply because they are interesting and that is reason enough for some people.

Shooting a Desert Eagle is basically recoil with a side of comedy and admiration

The first time I ever fired one, I just burst out laughing after the first shot. It's not really practical for me either, but it's tough not to just enjoy the whole experience.

Pretty accurate...more grin-inducing fireball than practical tool but hard not to appreciate it.

That laugh is universal, first shot always turns into instant respect mixed with disbelief.
