The gun everyone avoids

Everyone said Taurus was junk with horrible quality contro and warranty nightmares. My PT92 has 5,000 rounds through it without a single malfunction. Sometimes you get a good one, sometimes the internet exaggerates problems. I'm not saying buy blindly but don't let internet opinion override personal experience if something works for you..

I have a PT101AF in 40 S&W purchased about 30 years ago. It's a Beretta made by Taurus. Also own a Model 66 stainless steel in 357 Magnum (7 shot) purchased before the pandemic. Both are solid and never had any issues. I'll get heat for this, but I have seen the "G Series" 9MM pistols and agree they are junk. I would never trust my life or safety with one. I've also seen the new TH10, not impressed when compared to the competition. I think the saying "You get what you pay for" comes in focus. I've read where lots of folks swear by Taurus - and lots of folks curse Taurus. If you can find a good one, you're lucky. Too many people complaining about customer service/support makes me skittish. This is America - buy what you want!
