Trigger upgrade made a huge difference

I put an aftermarket trigger in my rifle and my groups got noticeably better. Didn't realize how mushy the stock trigger was until I replaced it. What upgrades have you done that actually improved your shooting versus just looking cool?

I put Larue Two stage precision triggers in these guys and it made a big difference.


Since I had some extra trigger parts, I decided to do my own trigger job on this guy with reduced power springs.

A better trigger and a stock that fit me better made the biggest difference. Fancy upgrades didn't do anything, but cleaner trigger pulls made my groups smaller

I replaced my factory "sloppy" 10-22 triggers in my two rifles, and my 10-22 Charger, with the all-metal Jard triggers, but I just never really liked them. I got a huge discount on them from a retailer who was closing them out - roughly 3-for-1, so they were worth the trial. Settled on the Ruger BX for all, and very happy. I don't really shoot that much better, but I don't jerk the BX when I pull it. Best accuracy is oddly with the shortest - the 10-22 Charger.
