I'm curious about everyone's favorite shooting range. Is it the one closest to home, or maybe one with amazing staff? Share where you shoot and what makes it special!

I have my own range & sees the most use. The picture is the 100 yard side. I also have targets at 25 & 50 with a covered & floored bench.

I'm also use Beckley Gun Club which isn't a bad place. I can shoot 500 yards there & there is a 1000 yard gong. They also have falling plate racks with I use most every trip.

Putnam County Gun Club. Multiple ranges, steel targets available on the pistol ranges, NRA built cowboy and other competitive ranges. Long rifle range.
Also a wildlife sanctuary, so one has to pause for a few while deer and turkeys cross in front of you, seemingly not paying attention to gunfire.

Tell us about the long rifle range.

Here's the entire club, as seen from Google. Rifle range is uphill, slightly, with target points at 50, 100, 200, and (out of picture) 300 yards. The club had to stop "cannon" calibers like 338, 45, and 50 from range use because a skip shot could clear the top berms and carry for a mile or more, going past all the adjacent park and landing too close to homes over the next ridge. The range to the right is for small bore, 150 yards deep.
